Redstart’s goal in redesigning the Home on Edgewater was to create a forever home for our clients, that embodied their elevated style and timeless aesthetic. The Home on Edgewater not only helped our clients transition into a new chapter of their lives, but their home is now representative of their interests, as well as the daily functions of their lives.

The scope of the project was a full first floor remodel where we opened up the space into one that is fit for entertaining. In addition, the project encompassed a major exterior remodel, allowing our clients to entertain all year long and enjoy every season in the Midwest.

Our design strategy was to create a space that served comfort, functionality, and warmth. The design focus was on creating cohesion between the kitchen, dining room, and living room; as these areas were originally closed off to each other.

The Home on Edgewater is now a light and open space, ready to welcome guests and be a forever home for our clients.
