The River Run Renovation is a remarkable transformation of the first and second floors of a home in Naperville. Originally built over 20 years ago, the homeowners wanted to update the home to reflect today’s trends. Tranquility Builders’ design team collaborated closely with the homeowners to refine their vision and turn the house into their dream home. The design process included guiding the homeowners through selection options, visiting showrooms together, and creating 3D visuals based on their choices.

The entire home was enhanced with luxury and custom finishes, meticulously designed to align with the homeowners’ vision. On the first floor, the wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed to create a seamless kitchen layout that integrates beautifully with the rest of the space, featuring exquisite Amish cabinetry. The cabinets combine painted and dark walnut finishes, complemented by Subzero/Wolf appliances and quartzite countertops. The mudroom was enlarged to provide a more functional entry, complete with custom boot bench storage and a secondary washer/dryer unit. Adjacent to the mudroom, the pantry boasts custom cabinet storage and a pass-through cubby to the kitchen.

On the second floor, Tranquility Builders redesigned the primary bathroom and closet to feature a more functional tub and shower configuration. The existing hall bathroom was transformed into an ensuite bathroom, and a Jack & Jill bathroom was added to connect two of the bedrooms, providing shared access. The renovation was completed with the addition of a full laundry room, equipped with ample custom cabinetry.
